Design is very important to anyone overseeing a project. Not only does it encompass the essential parts of the process but rather a structural overview of what’s to come. Without it, you might as well be blindfolded. The main points of any design process include the Project Brief, Analysis, Research, Specification, Problem Solving, Conceptualisation, Documentation and finally, Presentation. It is also important to involve us as early as possible in the planning stage as there are usually parts of the project that needs to be addressed before any construction has commenced. Unfortunately it happens all too often with poor project management where a new building has to be partly de-constructed to allow for services to be installed that were overlooked with initial planning.
